The person that I most grateful of in life + DiGizens Thank You Sale

DiGi is now giving away 2 Samsung GALAXY S4 smartphones and 1 HTC One smartphone to our selected lucky winners!

Wow~ what a great news to me as I had lost my phone in the first day of year 2014. Yesterday ( 1st Jan 2014) I went to toilet before going for my brunch at my hostel toilet, my phone ‘jump’ out from my pocket and slide down the toilet bowl down deep inside. For my very first response, what the luck I have for 2014. I can’t care much about hygiene things, I just try to get with my hand but too bad it was just too deep, my hand can’t even reach, then try with stick and double tape, spent one and a half hour trying there, ended up fail. Gave up after trying out hard, and maybe is time for me to get a new phone for a new year.

Wonder how? Easy peasy!

The person that I most grateful of in my life is my DAD. He was working out hard to give us a happy and easy life. At least the past 22 year of my life, I was not having any trouble or any problem. It was quite easy going, and I am quite proud of my mum teaching skills at least our family children will not simply ask for anythings, and easy to get satisfied. So once in a while, we ask for something, Dad is always there to fulfill our little wish.

Although my dad is busy with work, travel around all the time, sometimes its been months he is not able to be at home. but everytime he back sure brought us some gifts, and just a small little candy will make us happy. Every school holiday, we don't any overseas trips, but just 3 days 2 nights Genting Trip. It is enough to make my sister and I happy for the whole holiday. It was the childhood time.

After growing to be teenager, girls are more close to mum instead of dad, somemore my dad is not around most of the time, so we are not getting closer. My dad is not someone sensibility, it feel weird to talk very emotional things with him. We used gave him a goodnight kiss before bed when we were child, but don't remember when we stopped this habit, and feel awkward to do it anymore. But we still love him, and always waiting him to back home.

My very first phone in my life is given by my dad when I was 13(2004) , although not any expensive phone just an China-made phone as he was travelling to China more often for business purpose that time. The phone came with a simcard, and it is DIGI number. I was quite happy as actually the whole family members is using another telecommunication provider. The number I have used since that day until now, and will continue being a DiGizen. I am satisfied with the services and there are lots of benefits and rewards.
My dad is just too good, even I didn’t ask for a smartphone, my Dad gave me a Nokia N8 (it was new model that time), when I going to finish my form 6(2010). All my friend are working ,earning to buy their own phone, my dad just give me as a gift and even I didn’t ask for it. Sometimes, I feel bad since I was nagging that the phone I was using is still function able, why do I have to change and waste this money. I should just appreciate it and said thank you.

Even now, I lost my phone, my dad didn't scolded me but he was the one tell me let it go don't try already and I just skype with mum and she pass me Dad message " ask me to choose any phone I like" I feel so blessed and warm but I insisted to used the old phone we had in house. Since dad is retired and I am big enough, just wait till I start working, I will buy it myself, but then I still appreciate for the

Now, I was away from home, staying in hostel for my tertiary education. The person I called most is my mum, I didn't even call to my dad cause we are just not that good to reveal our love to each other but we know we care for each other cause everytime I talked to my mum, my dad was beside her, although he didn't say anything, but he listen everything, at least he know I am doing good there. Everytime I go home, although we didn't speak much, but he always go out and buy all local foods for me.( There is no time for me to feel hungry at home, instead everytime I gained weight when going back home.) This is what blessed mean. I am so blessed to have you as my Dad, I am so grateful to be able to call you Dad and I am so enjoy being your little girl(even I am getting older bigger, but for you ,we are always the little girl).
Dad, I love you so much.

Seeing that the growing number of grey hair you have, I realised as we grow, you are getting older. Now, you are semi-retired already, having more time home with mum and family. Soon, I going to graduate, I will be at home with you all too. A chinese old saying " 树欲静而风不止,子欲养而亲不待"  means 'The tree wants to stay still but the wind won't stop, the children want to be with their family(or parents) but they are no longer there.' . I just want to treasure the every moment we can have together, I just want accompany they as much as I can. It is too terrible to imagine if one day they are not around anymore, I am not ready for it yet, just too scare for it to happen.
